A street car becomes a racing carAs international racing in the 1970s was dominated by German manufacturers and their cars, Chevrolet decided to produce a powerful racing car that would increase the American influence on the racing world. The street version of the Chevrolet Monza, which was developed into a racing model and produced by DeKon Engineering, served as the basis at that time. Stars and Stripes decorations were everywhere to be seen at the 200-year anniversary of the USA in 1976 – and motor sport made no exception by getting well in with the design trend!
This turnaround in international racing was then brought about by the manufacturer Chevrolet. The Chevrolet Dekon Monza No.1 was a race-ready model that gave the increasingly dominant German racing scene an American flair. And then, of course, there is the subject of design: The much-loved and trendy patriotic "Stars and Stripes" design then gave the vehicle a first-class eye-catching appearance in 1976. What a success!
A cult vehicle for the slot car race trackThe sleek GM-licensed vehicle comes to your race track on a scale of 1:32. In particular, the striking design in blue, red and white underlines the cult character of the slot car. Of course, realistic features should not be missing – therefore the car is equipped with headlights, rear and brake lights. The racing car can be adjusted to meet your requirements quickly and easily. It can be individually coded in a few simple steps and can thus be easily controlled on the digital tracks.

If we receive a product where the display case lid has been damaged and there is no replacement available, we will exchange the damaged lid for an equivalent new one from a different model. Sometimes we will receive products from suppliers that are new, but not factory sealed. This is usually when the car is out of production.
